Monroe, GA — Republican candidate for Georgia State Senate District 46, Marc McMain, today announced the endorsement of three leading law enforcement officials from across the district: Sheriff Jud Smith of Barrow County, Sheriff Keith Brooks of Walton County, and Sheriff James Hale of Oconee County.
"Supporting local law enforcement is one of my top priorities, which is why I’m truly honored to have the endorsement of all three Republican Sheriffs from our community," said McMain. "They know they can count on me to stand up for the rule of law and advocate for our first responders. Earning their trust is a privilege—and I hope to earn the trust of every voter in this district as well."
Each sheriff emphasized McMain’s commitment to public safety:
Sheriff Jud Smith (Barrow County) said, "As Sheriff of Barrow County, it's important to me that we elect leaders who prioritize public safety and support law enforcement. I know this is a core part of Marc's platform, and that’s why I proudly endorse him for State Senate."
Sheriff Keith Brooks (Walton County) added, "Marc McMain is someone I trust to always vote with public safety in mind and stand up to the radical Left’s anti-law enforcement agenda. In Walton County, he's been a longtime friend to first responders and had our back. Now we have the opportunity to return the favor."
Sheriff James Hale (Oconee County) stated, "In Oconee County, we work hard to create a safe place to live, work, and raise a family. That only continues when we elect leaders who support law enforcement. That’s why I’m endorsing Marc McMain for State Senate."
McMain, a longtime Georgia resident and conservative entrepreneur, is running to represent District 46, which includes parts of Barrow, Clarke, Oconee, Walton, and Gwinnett Counties.
